\nas you can see by the graphic the start of this day was not something we were looking forward to! It is a LONG, grueling, uphill slog.<\/p>\n

Rain most of the day, but it did start to clear up finally towards the end of the day, and we enjoyed to stop at the visitor center where the staff was friendly, as his representative of most of the tourist service personnel that we run into on our journey.
\nThe center was adorned with original artwork from local artists and offered multiple free refreshments for those on the pilgrimage \"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The highlight of the day and perhaps one of the major highlights of our entire experience on the Camino was meeting Tony and Lisa.<\/p>\n

A wonderful couple from New Mexico with him we got along famously literally from the first hello! We spent quite a bit of time with them and enjoyed every moment of it and agreed to meet again when we got to Arz\u00faa! Just another example of a spontaneous joy to be found in the midst of the hard rain, the hard hike and the very, very long days.<\/p>\n
